tashicholing@yahoo.comDear Friends
We wish to update you of some last minute changes to Jan/Feb program. The guru puja for 7 Feb to celebrate Tibetan Losar is changed to Tuesday 29 January at 7.30pm and Citamani Tara self initiation (scheduled for Saturday 26 January), is now rescheduled to Saturday 2 February 3.00pm.
This change is because Geshe-la and Tamdin will be going to India, first to Sera Je for Tibetan New Year and then to Dharamsala for His Holiness teachings. Their tentative departure date is Thursday 31 January 2008, subject to getting Indian visa in time. They are due back in Sydney on 30 March. As soon as their travel itinerary is finalized, we will inform you of their flight details. Geshe Choden will be travelling with them.
We hope you are able to join us at the guru puja to wish Geshe Dawa-la, Geshe Choden and Tamdin a safe journey and happy Tibetan New Year.
Teachings will resume when Geshe-la return. We will keep you informed.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy Losar, good health and prosperity.
With love and prayers,
Tashi Choling Committee
